Pour ce projet, la musicienne et compositrice Veda Bartringer vise à chercher des nouvelles sonorités en incluant un quatuor à cordes à côté du quartet. Les compositions sont un mélange entre musique classique et jazz. Il est important pour la musicienne d’inclure le savoir en musique classique qu’elle a acquise au conservatoire avant et pendant ses études en musique jazz. La musique classique représente le début de la carrière pour la musicienne : elle a pris des cours d’harmonie, de contrepoint, d’arrangement et étant professionnelle aujourd’hui, elle veut inclure ce savoir dans les nouvelles compositions.
Pour ce faire, la musicienne veut créer différents moments personnels à travers sa musique, des moments qui représentent des phases de la vie de façon autobiographique. L’aspect de storytelling prend alors une grande importance. Dans son dernier album, la musicienne s’était focalisée sur la terre et l’univers, elle s’était inspirée de textes et de photos de la NASA. Cette fois-ci, elle cherche à créer des émotions encore plus intimes et personnelles.

For this project, musician and composer Veda Bartringer aims to explore new sounds by including a string quartet alongside the quartet. The compositions are a blend of classical music and jazz. It is important for the musician to include the knowledge of classical music she acquired at the conservatory before and during her studies in jazz music. Classical music represents the beginning of the musician's career: she took lessons in harmony, counterpoint and arranging, and now that she's a professional, she wants to include this knowledge in her new compositions.
To achieve this, the musician wants to create different personal moments through her music, moments that represent phases of life in an autobiographical way. The storytelling aspect takes on great importance. In her last album, the musician focused on the earth and the universe, drawing inspiration from NASA texts and photos. This time around, she aims to create even more intimate and personal emotions.
